Prayers by heart

03rd Oct 2014, New Delhi

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched - they must be felt with the heart.
 - Helen Keller

So true.. !

This picture was clicked at the Christ Church in Shimla. I went in without realizing that it’s a Sunday. The Sunday prayers were on and the whole aura of the Church was so alluring with chorus, chants, candles & its fragrance.  I was lost in the moment.

the mirror view

While clicking we think of the view/composition in front of us and we tend to forget whats' behind us. A reflection can be a solution to show a larger perspective of the world around you.

This picture is an effort to show the busy departure terminal at T-3, Delhi airport.

Sleepy days

Summers can be quite unproductive at times to others while at the same time quite productive to others.

I saw this man taking a nap during work in this scorching heat and the whole composition was looking so dreamy to me. Initially I clicked him with my phone camera and by the time I took out by DSLR and set it for the perfect shot, he was awake and conscious.

..still this picture is quite well capturing the moment and this is all I’m left with to share with all.

bring alive the past!!

Not sure how many stories have been told from these windows. But, even after so many centuries, these windows still inspires us to tell new stories to the world. I looked around the fort throughout my visit for such stories which can bring life from the past.

This picture is one of those try from me to reiterate the importance of these magnificent structures and its past.

Will you shop OR ?

While people keep them busy shopping around the airport, i rather love to roam around looking for some good moments to click. The lighting, ambiance and the people give you many opportunities to get the perfect frames.

This picture is from one of my recent trip.

a story by mirror

On one of my colleague's wedding i was wandering around to find some nice angles to click. I saw this reflection in a rather empty corridor...
I felt like as if the mirror was telling me that the story is there at the center stage , not in an empty corridor.

through the window

watching the person looking out of the train window was not something see it every day while commuting.. but somehow the dull morning (due to fog), dark shades on person face and him being completely lost in his thoughts, were giving a deeper meaning to the whole frame.. I had to click it without him noticing me… and this is what I got at last.

Dream Morning

When you wake up early in the morning and get stunned by such a picturesque view of the mountains, mist, sun rays...then you know you are in God's own Country... It’s like waking up to a dream morning.

I had some beautiful shots of this place from my camera but i preferred to upload this one because it’s clicked from my phone. I'm totally amazed by the quality of the pictures, the shades, tone captured by it. So, thought of sharing it with all of you. J

Please note the picture is slightly edited by changing a bit of brightness and contrast.

In Conversation

I noticed them at the airport lounge, early in the morning, looking outside and having a lengthy conversation.Initially I ignored, but with the light breaking at the background and their silhouette against it was quite captivating and i couldn't resist at all

Sometime to have a water proof phone helps you to get some good shots...

This picture was taken at Barachukki falls near Bangalore during my recent visit. Being so close to the falls i was not been able to take any pics with my camera (with water falling constantly over us). And my phone came for the rescue and i could manage some beautiful shots of the falls as well of ours.. :-)
